Good start.
May I suggest a tight, dark hide? They need some way to actually hide...meaning, no roomy space, no light gets in. That ceramic rock you have there looks pretty to a person, but isn't so hot from the animal's point of view.
Cut some big squares of plywood, and attach a piece of wood to one end of it, and lay it down. That way the lizard can SQUISH itsself under it as tight as it would like. Scatter many flat pieces around, the lizard will enjoy hiding under them much more than climbing those fancy branches in there.
Also, some dirt in there makes the best exercise and entertainment toy for an ackie. They are diggers.
If you want your ackie to be on display all the time, it will be very unhappy, ultimately. Monitors hide, its what they do. They will learn to poke their heads out to see what you're doing (they're very nosy) and come running when they see the food tongs, but get used to the fact, they stay hidden away the rest of the time. Your monitor will likely get used to you, and come out to watch you, but hide when strangers come over. They know their keepers.
Have fun.
