Thank you, I realize that. They are not in the same cages & I'm asking these questions so that I can better customize each animal's home to meet its needs. I bring up the boa (who is a Hog Island, by the way, so is not as big as you may be thinking) as an example of how varied the hot spot is in each of the cages with the same heat source.
