A plexiglass floor will be safe for your enclosure. However, it will not be easy to clean once the monitor scratches the heck out of it. It will also be expensive. Fiberglass Reinforced Panel (aka FRP board) will be a much better choice. In fact I'd consider lining the entire cage with it. You can find it in the showerboard section of your local home improvement center.
