Posted by: razyrsharpe at Mon Jun 30 09:05:13 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by razyrsharpe ] just wondering if anyone knows a commercial dealer of catalpa worms...they are a great source of bait for fishermen and i wanted to try them out on the turtle population i currently support. they are usually found in the south and feed exclusively on the leaves of the catalpa tree...hence their name. they are black w/ a single thick hairlike spike on their butt and have green or yellow stripes down both sides. also, they are not truly worms...but catepillars of the catalpa sphinx moth. | ||
