Depends on the limestone, some are softer than others. If the lime stone is not in the water it will be just fine, if it is in the water its possible some of the lime could leech out of the stone changing the ph balance of the water, possibly harming the snake. Working with natural stone is going to look really nice, but I would recommend you design it in such a way as to eliminate the need to remove any stone when sevicing the cage. Either to change the water, cleanig the cage, or removing the snake from its enviroment. Trust me, if you have to mess around with heavy stones everytime you have to do something concerning the above listed issues, it will get old quick. Thereby possibly causing you to neclect certain issues concerning husbandry. With a snake of that size, I would also suggest you secure the stone well as the stone could easily be moved around by the snake. By the way I'm a mason and I know a little about stone. I also have a Argintine, mine is 4.5'. For me , i'm going w/ faux stone. Good luck, and some pics. would be apprediated. Clint
