I filled gaps in the polystyrene with expandable foam in a can. I covered the polystyrene with sand colored tile grout. After the grout hardened for a couple days, I sealed it with a water based grout sealer. While the sealer was still wet, I put two different colors of sand on it. The plants are fake. After a couple of months with a sub adult BD in the cage it has held up pretty well. It can be tough to clean, and the pexiglass has gotten scratched up, but overall, it still looks pretty good. | ||
