But the book is in press and it wasn't just from Bob Mailloux, it was from Philippe de Vosjoli and several well respected veterinarians. If there was evidence that breeding at such a young age caused problems I am sure they wouldn't want their names on it. Sorry to hear you have a dragon with gout, that is usually caused by insufficient water and/or excess heat. I have never read anywhere that it is inherited. There is no doubt that sandfire dragon's are somewhat inbreed as is the case with all color morphs, that is how they were created. However I have never seen published that breeding too young is horrible for offspring and/or the parents, unless of course you are talking about dragons that breed at 4 months because they were housed together. | ||
