A UVA/UVB fluorescent to aid calcium absorption and a regular incandescent for heat. The incandescent should be placed over a basking area (a branch, etc.) so that the temperature at that area is about 90 degrees. You should place the UVA/UVB light over an area where they can bask under it where they are about 12 inches from the light source. Remember UV radiation will NOT penetrate glass of Plexiglass.n [ Hide Replies ]
