I've been looking around and didn't see these plants any "toxic plants" list. I didn't see them on a "safe plants" list either, so I wanna be safe. I saw some really nice Areca and Kentia Palms at the Home Depot that look really awesome and would fit in my veileds cage pretty nicely. I was just wonderin if any of you know them to be toxic.



My Veiled loves to eat vegetation and don't want him gettin food poisoning. He'll annihilate ANY Schefflera that enters his cage! Even putting a ton of greens in there doesn't really help! I don't know what it is, but no Schefflera will last a few months in there with him. I'm wondering if that's a Veiled thing, or just my nutty cham.



Oh yeah! One more thing: Do any of you know if bamboo is toxic to herps? (Real bamboo, not that "lucky bamboo" junk) If so, what species? My neighbor has a little "bamboo forest" in his back yard and sells the stuff. He offered to give me some for my cham. I have to ask him the species, but I can tell you that the stalks are really thin (about half an inch and less) and they don't grow really tall (either that or he doesn't allow them to grow really tall) they're probably 4-6 feet out of the ground or pot. yellowy-orangish-beige stalks with BRIGHT green leaves. lol
