I've been currently using the on/off themostats with CHE's on boa enclosures. I'm making the switch to Pro heat panels soon, and I'm also building melamime rack frames and will be using 3"flex-watt strips for the neonate racks. Although I've never had problems with the thermostats that I've been using for the last 10 years, I've been reading enough about other peoples mishaps to cause a concern for my house and family.

I'm looking for websites that sell varieties of thermostats, and would like to hear pros/cons of different models.

I'm also looking for info on why the use of a dimmer when you already have a thermostat in regards to using flex-watt. I've never used it before, but I've been reading as much as I could find.

It's just nice to hear opinions from people who are NOT trying to sell me there product. I'm interested in info on Johnson, Helix, and any other models in the same catagoy- I think it's spell (proportional heat)or something like that.
