My 2 year old male beardie, Ojay, has been brumating off and on since November! I thought he was done brumating in May. Sometimes he will come out for a week or a few days, eat a few worms, then back to sleep he goes. He hasn't been interested in veggies or greens at all. He will drink occasionally from a dropper if I drip in on his nose. So I know he's not dehydrated. He doesn't look like he's lost any weight, but I'll weigh him tonight to make sure. I had a fecal done on him before he started brumating in November and it was clear. I just can't seem to keep him out and awake. My temps are good (105/80) and I leave the lights on for 14 hours. We moved recently but he was doing this before we moved. I'm not sure what to make of this either. Maybe his temps aren't as consistant as I thought. We have the stick up thermometers in his cage, but they aren't as accurate as a digital thermometer.
If anyone has some ideas for us - I'd appreciate hearing them too!
Thanks,
Veronica Beautiful Dragons
