I found a small snake in my house. I unfortunately do not have a picture. I live in NE Alabama. The snake was small maybe about the size of 1.5 fingers thick. It was about 2 feet long. The color was a dark, dark grey. Not black or brown or your normal grey. It had spots that I believe were shaped like circles, I did not see the side or it's bottom side. It's head was triangle-ish. It was about to get in my comforter, about 3 feet from it. I got the comforter slowly and it raised it's head but did not stick it's fangs out. I know pretty much nothing about snakes. I am not to fond of them, sorry. I am afraid for myself and kids. I have never seen a snake indoors in my house ever. I was in shock. I could not believe it was in the house. I said, what are you doing in here?? Anyways, I took my comforter and got out of there quick. It is cold outside, but it was cold where the snake was in the house. It was in a bedroom on the third floor, which ahd no heat turned on. I am not sure the temp outside, but probably about 45-55 degrees. If anyone thinks they may know what this snake was, please reply. It didn't look like it was going to do anything, like come after me, but remember, it did raise it's head. It was on the stairs.
