For them I use paper towels. You can change them daily and they cany eat them. Every person will tell you somehting different too. Some swear playsand will kill your beardies. I've talked to top of the line breeders form around the country and all of them use playsand from the day they hatch. Some recomend bran. Both are good choices. Ive never used bran though. Ive used playsand for 6 years with out any neggitive results. Some substrates to avoid would be calci sand and crushed wallnut shells(a.k.a. desert blend). Your beardie could get impacted from both of these. Im sure Others will post too so just use your best judgement. | ||
