This may be gross but, could juvi dragons eat maggots?

I was just wondering because a guy I met uses maggots for fishing bait then gives the extras to his turtles. He said they love them. They seem like they would be soft, I would think that if beardies could eat them, you would have to watch where they came from. I mean you wouldn't want to pick them off some road-kill.



any experience or comments?
