well,you could try to convince it to soak its head if you can do that.Or you can wet a sponge and try to wipe off its face to loosen the skin.Putting some damnp sphagnum moss in the hide box is also good to do also.i havent ever had any problems with my blood shedding so far,and hopefully i wont ever.hope this helped ya,and good luck in the future...
oh yeah,they also sell some stuff in pet stores that aids inshedding,not sure if it works well or not,never used it ,thought id mention it though.
