The problem with them is, they eat giant earthworms where they come from. In this country you can use the night crawlers, but they have big appetites. These snakes have to be kept in very damp conditions (the kind that give other snakes body rot). Dehydration is a BIG ISSUE. They prefer temps in the mid to upper 70's. Wet spagnum or potting soil with a rock or branch to climb on seems to work best. They should be misted daily with water that has been treated to remove chlorine. [ Hide Replies ]
