THEIR IS SEVERAL WAYS OF DOING THIS BUT i HAVE FOUND THAT THE BEST AN LESS MESSIEST WAY IS TO TAKE A PEN OR SCREW DRIVER,AN PUT IT BEHIND THE MOUSE OR EVEN RAT'S NECK AN APPLY PRESSURE AN GIVE A GOOD PULL ON THE MOUSE OR RAT'S NECK AN BINGO IT'S DONE!CAUTION THOUGH IF YOU PULL TOO HARD YOU WILL RIP THE MOUSE OR RAT'S TAIL OFF,LOL!Eric
