Half the snake was over my left shoulder while I cradled the heavy half in front of me (yeah, I know 10 lbs ain't heavy.) Anyway, for a split second I FORGOT I was holding a boa and swatted at a beetle or whatever was landing on the back of my neck. Smacked the snake right on the head pretty hard. Instantly I froze-waiting to get bit. Never happened. WHAT A GOOD GIRL! She has never bit me but if ever I deserved it it was then. [ Hide Replies ]
