I lost my green vine snakes (Ahaetulla sp) to similar symtoms, including the mid-body swelling you refer to. I tried to convert them over to pinkies, but to no avail. Would you suggest a preventative treatment if you're going to feed them exclusivly anoles?? If so what we I treat them with and dosage?? I'm contemplating getting some more vines as they're awesome snakes. Please advise. Thanks for your help.
