also the thing you need to keep in mind is a reptiles urine is very acidic(spelling?) and through time will break the seals down in the heat rock so water can get through to the electrical parts and cause it to short out. Ive heard of heat rocks shorting wihtin a week of being taken out of the package and others lasting a long time. The way they are mass produced I really doubt they test/check the seals on every one prior to boxing it and sending it out the door. I do the same as the other guys was saying cut the cord and make them a decoration IMO they are worth nothing more then that. ----- Jason & Danica
