About 2 months ago I walked out my front door and saw a small toad lying in a shallow rubbermaid with water in it. I scooped it up and put it in with my anoles. They do great because they need the same ammount of heat and since my anoles stay in the branches and leaves, while the anoles hides in the half log, they never meet. I don't know what kind it is but someone showed me many pictures of toads that all looked the same. It may be a fowler's toad by not too sure. That's why I'd like some help id'ing it. I found it in Maine, where I live. It's not too big, but I think it may be a baby. I have seen other toads of what I think is the same species that could cover my entire hand with it's size. So if they are indeed the same species they get huge. But for now it is just a couple inches long. It eats like a big. About 7 crickets a day sometimes and countless superworms. I often find it a pain to feed it because on feeding day I empty 14 crickets into the feeding tank and he barely leaves any left for the anoles, lol. It's on reptile bark now, and it is kept moist by daily mistings. So if you can help id it for me, could you hook me up with a caresheet? Thanks in advance, this should help a lot.
