Hey,
These two bloods were going to shed whether they bred or not, as this was just coincidently, their time to shed. The female however, will have a pre-lay shed (If she is gravid), about 21-29 days prior to egg laying. Males will not go into a shed, just because they have bred, but they will sometimes breed while in shed, and will also, breed females in shed.
