I have been looking for a new camera as well. How can you tel which macro gets closer?



I know your camera has 12 million pixels and you can enlarge the print to get the desired effect. Is that how you got the shot above or did you just snap the pic and post?



I have been to camera stores and the employees working the counter don't seem to know much about macro lenses. I wish somebody here could chime in with what I need to look for. I just need it for internet and don't need the high resolution due to the fact its unnessary for internet posting. I use a 1.2 mega pixel and people tell me a 7.0 mega will not be any better quality on the internet. So how do I get a macro that can gets as close as yours without the price tag that yours has?
