Conway is the man on the care sheets on the Candoia. KS has the links.
There is not a whole lot to do. The big thing is whether the animal is eating rodents or not. If not, pass it by, else no problem. I put them up on newspaper with a BIG water dish (they like to swim) and not much else. Temps in the 75 to 80's. Generally do overhead and undertank heating on snakes. As the like to climb I put in a branch from a tree to hang out on, it is used regurlarly. These are really sweet animals. I breed gex, know next to nothing about snakes, love my Candoia and have had no problem keeping her healthy and happy.
About the Rough Scale, what is the problem. I keep those too. They are ambush hunters so they need to be able to bury themselves underground (head visible only). Sand or wood chips work well. Just drop an appropriatly sized FT on their nose and they will take it. Mine do. They are really eager eaters, never had one turn down a meal.
Contact me privately, maybe I can help, but remember I am a geckophile that keeps snakes, but if I can do it anyone can...
