I have seen this before. This sounds like she had advanced respitory infection and the stress (Both physical and mental) probably dislodged heavy mucus globules and they may have lodged in her esophocous (sp?) or trachea, and she choked to death. The writhing spasms are when they are struggling to breath. I am in the process of designing a long, thin, ply-able tube affixed to a small air pump for herpers to have something to get oxygen to their snake in this situation. I have been told that respitory infections are not contagious, but I feel that I have seen ample evidence of the contrary. You need to quarantine the other burmese and wash all the equipment and supplies with a bleach solution before using it.

Keep me/us posted on the other snake's condition. Again Tom,.. so sorry to hear this.

It isn't "Ideas" that fail or succeed,... it is the "Sytstems" which are instilled to launch and sustain the idea that either fail or succeed.>
