Posted by: flamedcrestie at Fri Dec 3 17:22:46 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by flamedcrestie ] mine turns the heat on at 70 degrees i believe. the only problem i have with it is it seems to sort of absorb heat. like if i have it within 10 feet of a heat vent, the incubator will absorb the heat coming out. even if the room tempterature isn't that high the incubator will get that high. it won't produce anymore heat though. so just try to keep it out of a drafty area and away from anything that will change temperatures very quickly. am currently incubating several clutches of crested gecko eggs at 74 degrees. i also keep a digital thermometer in it all the time. and like someone else said, it's a little bit of a pain getting the temp set. but after that it's pretty consistant. | ||
