I've been searching all over the place trying to find a female giant day gecko for my male, and finally I found a place in CA that had a supposed female. They stated that she came in with a lot of males and that she was getting gang banged in other words. She had bite marks all over her shoulders and body when she got to me. I've had her for a about a month and she's healed great. I recently introduced her to my male gecko and they seem to get along alright. He attempts to mate with her only to get shot down with a swift bite. I've been having problems verifying the sex of my new supposed female gecko. She is larger than my male and her fermoral pores are very noticable as in my males, the only difference is the hemipenal bulges in my male are very noticable and she seems to not have as big a bulge. Can anyone verify that she is in fact a female? Also any ideas how i can influence her to mate with him? Thanks, Don
