sometimes i forget how strongly some people recommend the UV lights. i kept my babies aside from the parents' tank, which didnt have UV at the time, but they just got some light off of that. one thing i do remember was the fact that the babies' eyes were very darkly colored at first, but once i started giving them their own light, the deep red color faded. but yea, we'll see how this one egg ive got works out, and once it hatches ill try some UV light right off the bat and see if that makes any difference in growth.
