Repost: Flexwatt vs RHP

I saw on this website where this guy was building chondro cages that they put two pieces of flexwatt - one on the top and one on the side - of the cage he built. 3/4" ply with what looked to be FRP lining (which is what mine is built out of.) Now I already ordered one RHP from pro products i'll put in with my chondro, but im thinking could I use flexwatt as a cheap alternative for my 2 black rat cages and my one (dont know whats going in there yet) cage?



Will this just cause potential problems, or will it work fine?
