I would recommend getting the book "Venomous Reptiles of the Western Hemishpere" by the same authors. You can get it from Amazon.com. The price is a little steep but it is a wonderful two volume set. This version is basically an updated and better version of Venomous Reptiles of Latin America. That is why the latin America book is so hard to find now.
