RE: white blotches on tail?

Sounds like the start of a shed to me. The same thing happened to our 4 month old Panther on Saturday. He looked normal when he woke up, but a few hours later I noticed 2 white "blotches" on his front leg. I kept checking on him and each time they would get bigger until more popped up and his whole body soon started shedding.
