He needs to be well hydrated so you may want to mist (hot water - it cools to warm as it hits the air) more frequently to keep the air moist. You have him in that big cage, right (or am I confusing you with somone else?). It is difficult enough to keep humidity high in the screen cage but for his little body moisture could prove quite elusive. At the same time don't overdo the humidity, which could cause URI.
One tip for the shed is to use a natural plant oil (jojoba, canola, almond - not olive, it is way to thick and sticky) and dab a small amount onto his stuck shed to soften it up. The only time it can be a problem is if it is actually wrapped around a limb where it will constrict as he grows, but if they are just loose pieces "flapping in the breeze" (lol!) they will come off soon. Give it time
