it is not the snakes fault....he probably didnt feel secure and did what they do, got onto something and made himself feel secure. no matter how docile your snakes are they are not tame. snakes are wild animals and can not be tamed, they are not dogs and cats. well it is a good experience for you and i am glad you and your snake are alright, just take it as a lesson learned.
