The cage you are using is very similar to the one I built. I am not sure if your making this for inside or outside and if you plan on moving it once in a while but I would also consider making the the cage out of aluminum screen framing. Its the same thing as those $120 cages at the pet store. I found this to be pretty easy to build. This allows to cage to be light weight and movable and easy to break down as well. Each aluminum frame piece is 8ft long and $2 at home depot. The only issue i found with this method has been bending the frame when you put the screen on too tight.
