Handling after eating....

actually doesn't mean that you cannot pick them up and transfer them VERY gently back into their regular cage. What it means is that you cannot hold them for a "regular" period of time, such as when you are holding them and talking to them while you are working on your computer...... With that being said, what I do to avoid any feeding frenzy strikes is to put the entire feeding container without the lid on it back into their regular cage after they have swallowed their food and had a few minutes to get it down to their stomach area. But my feeding containers fit into my regular cage, so that might not work for you.
