I'm happy to say that when we came home tonight Shadow was sitting in the front hallway, mad as can be. I don't think I've ever seen a snake try to strike that much. Of course we both had our hands full but we managed to catch him and he is now safely in a cage (old one was of course taken down a few days ago) with some water. We'll try to feed him tomorrow morning and set up his cage again. I just thought I'd share the good news!

I am glad to hear you caught one of them. That is excellent indeed.

I never would have thought so after about three or four days.

I hear of it happening quite often but I have never been that lucky. The only one I ever caught after an escape was within about 10 or 15 minutes of it's escape and only because my dogs were barking at it.
