Hey,

You said it, it's safer, as it is not considered an aminoglycoside, and does not possess any of the possible side effects of the aforementioned Amikacin, and Baytril. The number of shots given is a little more, however, the broad spectrum properties work just as well, and reduce any ill effects from it.
