New to burms, got one,need some answers......please ?

I got a baby Green Burm @ a show last week. She's bout 14" long and feels VERY soft, like a new born does. I've tried EVERYTHING & EVERYWAY to get her to eat. No luck. She tried a larger mouse but couldn't kill it. I've always heard baby burms like large food items. I've even tried senting with chicken.
Since she's small & has that "new born feel", should I wait for a shed & then try to feed her? Any info would be great ! Thanks,Dave
