The thing is, I live near a port of entry, Seattle, and there are USF&W inspectors there to make sure the importation is done properly. Phil did the paperwork for Canadian export, I had copies in hand, made an appointment with the inspectors to be there to review the papers and animals. Once they are done, you take your papers to customs who need to stamp your papers too. Then you go home and put the snakes in their cages.

Others have had more problems importing, but as long as you are importing for personal use and the inspectors have their act together, it's quick and easy.

Also, since Dry's are not CITES animals, they are easy to import.

If you don't live near a port of entry, then it gets lots tougher.
