Iggnorance of Pet stores compared to online retailers....Feeder Items.

I have a very nice pet shop in my asrea called world wide aquarium. It is highly based on reptiles. The only down side is there are a lot of wild caught animals. But my favorite part is they sell ;live and frozen feeders for cheap. When i feed my snake arbbits aroun d6 1/2 to 7 ft. I was going to start off with a 2 lb. rabbit every 2 weeks. MY pet store dont weigh them or anything they just hand you any size feeder rabbit and send you off. Are and other pet stores around anyone else like that? I even ask them to measure it and they just say no you take what you get they dont even let me pick one out? Does anyone else buy from their pet store and not online? Thanks,

ps: i Know this isn't related but someone told me once they switch to rabbits it feeds once every 2 weeks on rabbits 1/8 their weight.....at 18 months old its once every 3 weeks rabbits 1/7-1/8 their weight...and finally at 2 years and up you only feed on prey item a month at 1/5-1/6 thjeir body weight? Is that correct?
