It does depend on the leos though, I got a BLizzard about 2 months ago and I ahve eyt to see her come out and eat during the day. She is gaining weight and pooping though so I'm assuming that she's eating while I'm asleep. Yes, your gecko will use the caves, except for an occasional leo that loves weird places to sleep (I've encountered quite a few sleeping standing up). Leos are often very active at night so using a red light bulb would help you see them and observe them without them being bothered. Are you planning on using sand? I'm asking this question because you said you wanted a natural looking cage. Often this is where people mess up and get sand because they think there is nothing else that would give a natural look to the cage. Tile is very natural looking, easy to clean, cheap, and is very safe for your leo. Good luck! | ||
