sorry, but this one sounds like a toughy. first off, this gecko is VERY dehydrated, possibly to the point of kidney damage. (see my earlier posts on this subject). I would recommend putting him on moist paper towel, offering H2O at least 2x a day, continue to offer crix and or mealworms, get the fecal done. How much does this little thing weigh? Have you got a pic of the underbelly? I know you dont want to stress him too much, but it might help. do keep us updated. where are you that a vet is charging that much? is there any way the petstore you rescued him from would help with the cost or at least refer you?
