First of all, I am not a vet, but I would say it definately looks like something viral or fungal, maybe you should try looking into some information regarding reptilian herpes - not common, but a possibility. As far as how did it spread, one of the most common causes of these type of diseases is feeder animals, ie. your crickets, mealworms, etc. Your supplier could have gotten a bad batch and then each insect is infected, and once it is put in your reptile's cage, it in turn, affects the reptile. Out of curiosity, where do you get your feeders from?
