As some of you may remember, back in September or so I bought 2 texas baridi hatchlings. One's doing great, however the other I couldn't get to eat except for 2 times. I have tried everything, however I got him to eat 2 pinkies live scented with anole substrate. He hasn't eaten in at least 2 monthsn ow, and I only ever got him to eat 2 pinkies, one month apart from each other.

I have recently tried taking an anole and cut its leg off, tied the leg to the mouse tail with a piece of human hair, and he wont even look at the anole tail.

He's gotten so extremly weak and thin that he barely crawls around now, wont rattle his tail (which he used to all the time)... and I really feel bad for him.

I don't want him to starve to death, I've been told it's really painful. However this thought is just as hard.

I was wondering whats the quickest and most painless way to euthanize a snake. I have no experience in this. I want something simple.

I read one time for fish you put some water in the freezer, until a thin layer of ice covers the top. Then you break the layer, drop the fish in. This stuns the fish and puts it in a coma, then freeze it.

I was wondering could the same happen for a snake. Water transfers heat (or the lack thereof) a lot faster than air does. Maybe just get the water that cold, drop him in and he'll be in a coma, take him out then freeze him so he doesnt drown - thats just as painful i've been told.

However, if people still think there is hope left... please tell me. I don't realy want to do this, however with his current pysical state and all I think it may be cruel to let him live.
