While I cannot deny that snake on the cover is certainly not ana anaconda...I must say the movie did have the coloration and pattern of a green anaconda (the scene with the anaconda going for the monkey in the log especially). And i will not buy the movie to see the coiled up burm. That movie got my money once at the theatre and I was mad enough at that. Completely worthless. NO facts were correct. Not only were the anacondas in the wrong part of the world but did you notice the mccaws as well. Also, anacondas will pass up all feeding oportunity when seeking out the female. And the breeding ball more resembled a breeding of garter snakes and NOTHING like an anaconda breeding ball.
