as far as eye color it is somewhat related to the region they are native to, but mostly it's just the genetic trait passing down. If you want to... this can be related to the human species. Individuals from Africa tend to have dark eyes - it's genetically modified for the amount of sun they have down there; just like dark skin. Up north in Germany, you don't have much sun - this explains why blue/green or any light colored eyes are common; also very pale skin.



It is thought that the indians having brown skin is a way they were adapting to the climate in north america before europe colonized it. You can see the darkening skin, with dark eyes. It is theorized that if they continued the same lifestyle they had back before the europeans colonized the americas for another couple thousand years, the skin color would be the same as africans.



So eye color is played largely by the region they live in. It's been genetically evolved over thousands of years to be optimal for their life. Just as it had for us, before civilization clicked in.



Now please don't go attacking me on being racist or evolutionist... i'm not coming from that angle. I am simply stating the facts. the human race has evolved to fit the times. People from certain parts of the world evolved to fit the climate they lived in before civilation kicked in.



And for those of you say evolution isnt there - we know for a fact we used to have a tail. heard of your tailbone? They have looked at skeletal remains over thousands of years, and this is shrinking. It used to be there to support a tail, but as we were able to maintain balance on two feet we no longer needed it. Evolution in the working.



Again, please don't flame me on states of religion or racism, just stating scientific facts.
