Funny how a topic changes in a post’s thread, the original question asked was about the relative size of rat and mice offspring at their stages of development. I placed a link to Rodent Pro because you could easily compare the size and weight of each corresponding item (i.e.: rat hoppers vs. mice hoppers).
I have about 25 rat snakes of varying ages and sizes. I buy mice by the hundreds when I order them. Since I have to open a few bags at a time when I do my weekly feedings, the hairless ones do start to show some freezer burn after a while, but my snakes don’t care and the nutritional value of the mice is not affected. What is very important to me is that when I need to order some mice, that the supplier has them in stock and can get them out to me.
