I'm still working on switching my male over to pinks (he finally ate one for me recently, the female eats pinks no problem). The male really does like his fish. I had a similar experience where I had to present the fish scented pink in his water dish to trigger a feeding response. I can tell when they're hungry because they hang out around their water dish, hunting. Once you got yours started on pinks, did they progress normally in prey size (fuzzies, hoppers, mice)?
I agree that they are fascinating little snakes!
