He could have pnuemonia. Go to your local feed store and get a bag of powdered neomyacin, or any tetracycline based farm animal antibiotic (forgive my awful spelling,. I am terrible at it. And there are sometimes many different antibiotics with different names, but all are tetracycline based). Keep your rabbit in a warm environment and add about a teaspoon per gallon to his water supply. Change this daily for 7 or 8 days,.. give him about a week break, and then another 7 or 8 days of treatment. Now, this is a very mild and natural antibiotic, so it won't be stressful on him if he should have something other than pnuemonia. In other words,. it won't hurt him, so you might as well try it. Keep us posted, and remember,.. you can breed your flemmish male to any given rabbit species (netherlands, new zeelands, lops) and still produce enormous rabbits. His sperm is basically free, so you might as well use it, you know? And the pure flemmish you produce could be sold for a hefty sum to erradicate any overhead. Just a thought.
