Don't worry, Belle, I'll let you know.
The main reason is that we are moving to Arizona in less than four years. I'm going to try to keep them long enough to breed the calicos and hypos and finish those projects. We've always had some problems with the space and also the amt of time it takes to care for the number of snakes I have. In AZ we'll have less space, and the taeniura are my largest snakes at this time.
I'm also in the process of changing direction with my interests in the hobby. I've decided to concentrate on the best pets and also more localized species, U.S./Mexican. Central to my collection will probably be the guttatus complex snakes and kingsnakes. I'm still hanging on to a few Asian species too.
Beauty snakes are a great species and I wish the best for keepers of any of them. If we had retired in Michigan I would keep them, 'cus they fit in better here. I hope my snakes can get into some good hands someday.
